The SWS roll-top duffle combines features of dry bag technology with materials and hardware found in the most demanding adventure applications. The duffles are anchored by 1000 denier Cordura, fully lined with a water resistant coated cotton twill, and finished with a pliant seatbelt webbing and YKK Aquaguard® zippers. We chose to line the bags with a light-colored fabric which will aid interior visibility and finding what you need inside. Every last piece of hardware in our roll-top duffles is metal, including the powder coated zinc spring release side buckles. These duffles are designed with the roll-top closure for two reasons: 1) nothing allows for more flexible cargo space and 2) like the best dry bags, when tightly cinched the roll top feature makes for an even more impervious barrier to the elements. When developing Best Made products we aim to select the best possible material for the task at hand, and in the case of soft goods that choice often leads us to natural fibers like wool, cotton, or leather. When it comes to certain applications, the ones with particularly demanding use, we think that synthetic materials like Kevlar, Ballistic Nylon, or Cordura are optimal solutions for applications with utmost wear and tear. Now in its 51st year, you could say no performance fabric is as proven, across so many applications as 1000D Cordura, and it's that legacy, combined with its enduring resilience and yielding hand feel, that make this fabric a "synthetic with soul".
