Support

Our products are designed to be used. To their fullest. If you're unsure about their use, maintenance, or you're unsatisfied with your purchase, don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to help with orders, returns, or any questions you may have.

As we rebuild we do so from the ground up. And as we grow we'll only be able to provide our customers with more resources and support. We thank you for your patience.

In the meantime please review our Guarantee, our Returns & Exchanges policy, and our FAQs (below).

Our Guarantee

We guarantee our products against defects resulting from the failure of materials and or craftsmanship. While our guarantee does not cover wear and tear, we will help facilitate the repair and refurbishment of our products. Products bought before September 2024 fall under the guarantee policies of previous ownerships, and so we cannot guarantee purchases made before then. However, we are committed to helping facilitate repairs whenever possible so we ask that you please contact us directly, and inquiries will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Our guarantee excludes axe failures from over-strike and misuse.

Returns & Exchanges

Returns and exchanges must meet the following criteria:

1. They must be returned or exchanged within 45 days from purchase.

2. They must be in new condition, unused and unwashed, with their tags still on.

3. They must be returned in their original packaging.

Returns will be fully refunded minus the cost of shipping. For more information see our guarantee.

To initiate a return or exchange, please contact us using the form above.

FAQs

We are committed to bringing some past products back, and officially retiring others. As to which, at this early stage of our relaunch we do not have specific plans. If you have an old product you love, search for it in The Archive and from there you can request that it be brought back.

The Archive section of our site is a growing repository of products from our past. If you see a product in The Archive that you would like us to bring back, then just click on the “Bring it back” button. We can’t make any guarantees, but knowing what you want will greatly inform what we revive.

We currently do not ship internationally, but we hope to in the near future. Please subscribe to our newsletter for updates on our international shipping policies.

Products bought before September 1, 2024, fall under previous ownership policies and can’t be guaranteed. However, we are committed to helping facilitate repairs whenever possible so we ask that you please contact us directly, and all inquiries will be reviewed on a case by case basis.

We hope that our business will one day be at a scale that we can offer in-house product repairs. Until then, we are eager to offer as many repair and restoration resources as possible. If you have a product that needs repair please contact us directly and all inquiries will be reviewed on a case by case basis.

Short Supply are limited-edition products made to order. Long Supply are staple products that we aim to keep in stock. This system helps us meet demand, control inventory, and reduce waste.

A notebook or a pocket knife are products that have everyday applications. We might offer an axe or a jacket on a limited basis because they serve a more specific purpose, or are made on a more limited, smaller scale.

For short supply products, we usually preview them on our website, and then a week or two later we will release them for sale.

No. Our products are priced — from the start — to reflect their inherent value. We do not inflate our retail prices so that we can eventually discount them. Everyone pays the same, without needlessly having to wait for discounts and sales.

If a Long Supply product sells out we will aim to restock it. If a Short Supply product sells out, we can’t guarantee it will be available again.

Quality, geographical proximity, and cost are the three main factors that dictate where we make our products. While domestic manufacturing within the United States is thus our preferred scenario, it is not always feasible or economically viable due to various logistical, financial, and manufacturing constraints.
