From Germany’s historic Black Forest comes our limited-edition Best Made Cuckoo Clock, the result of an exclusive and very special partnership with Hubert Herr—the only maker in Germany to produce both the fir-and-birch case and the intricate, fully mechanical internal movement. Using carving methods handed down from the early 19th century, their master artisans create a remarkable level of detail, even precisely replicating the Best Made Axe wielded by the hand-painted woodchopper figurine. Hubert Herr oversees the entire production in-house and there isn’t a more authentically engineered Triberg timepiece, with two cast cylinder pendants powering the movements (one driving the clock mechanics, the other driving the sounds and figurines). The woodchopper, his beer-drinking companion and the classic cuckoo bird perform to a chime every quarter hour, cheerfully celebrating the values we hold dear all day, every day. This is not only the ideal timepiece to adorn a Best Made cabin, it is fine artistry hand-crafted by a renowned maker of the true Black Forest Clock.
