Story

Designed by founder Edwin Viberg in 1931, the Service Boot is a custom updated interpretation of Viberg’s original work boot. The lace-up ankle boot pattern makes for a classic addition to any wardrobe — it remains their most popular model today. The upper is constructed from Horween’s signature Chromexcel, a full-grain leather with a hand-rubbed finish. Heavyweight and versatile, it’s perfectly suited to crafting durable footwear. Vintage brass eyelets, a rubber heel and sole, and an antique leather midsole complete the picture. Viberg has over 80 years of experience in handcrafting the world’s best boots — each pair involves 200 unique manufacturing steps, in a total commitment to detail.

Fit
  • The Viberg Service Boot is constructed on a full traditional last — formerly used for the Canadian Military Officer's dress boot — so we suggest going down a size for a comfortable fit.
